One set of Yin / Yang Stress Relieving Health Balls
Chinese believe hand massaging is a great stress reliever. Simply place 2 balls in the palm of your hand and move around, it will give you an extremely effective, yet safe and non-stressful workout.
Up for auction is one set of 1- inch diameter (40mm) healthy balls from China. When these were first invented during the Ming Dynasty, these were solid. In the 15th century they were hallowed out with a sounding board inside. These are used to build up physical strength and limber up the joints as well as a tool for self-defense. Some other benefits are listed below.

Arthritis
Arthritis usually affects many joints, most commonly the small joints of the hands. The affected joints become inflamed, painful, and swollen, and later deformed. Beginners should practice with only one hand at a time, and alternately practice with either hand. Eventually, it is better to practice rotating the balls both clockwise and anti-clockwise alternately because they are complementary exercises, and in this way the full potential of the usage of hands will be realized.
Maintenance: The balls are made of metal and, hence, should be kept dry and clean. Although the balls are strong and durable, owners should avoid violently knocking them against each other and against other solid objects and surfaces. If one plans not to use them for a long period of time, it is advisable to coat the balls with wax or grease for maintenance and preservation.
